365 Days of New Possibilities

Here we are, 365 days later, and we have made it to 2021! I think I can speak for everyone when I say 2020 was a wild ride of ups and downs. While we don’t know what 2021 will hold, I want to tackle this year with a glass half full perspective to ensure I keep filling my glasses. To make sure 2021 is the best it can be, I recently sat down to make my own goals.

Learn, learn, learn!

Being a recent college graduate, I know that there is still A LOT I have to learn, especially when it comes to an industry that is so ever-changing. I want to make sure I am learning more and gaining new experiences, and enhancing the skills I have spent the last three and a half years learning. To continue this goal, I plan to take every opportunity to keep up with the ever-evolving trends going forward.

Create Work-Life Balance

Since beginning my journey with the AD and PR industry, a common conversation I have had with professionals working in agencies is work-life balance. The common lesson I have learned from them is that you have to learn in the act. Each day is going to be different, each client is going to have different needs, and each agency is going to be run differently. Ensuring this balance will set me up for success in the coming years of my career and allow me to keep a fresh mind when approaching new challenges in both sections of life.

Visit More Places

I love to travel and see new sights, from the mountains to the city lights. After spending the last few months writing for clients in different parts of the U.S. I would love to complete this goal by visiting clients in their hometowns and see how their environment shapes their work every day.

Currently, I have a map in my room with states I have visited and want to check off more states and cities.

I can’t wait to see what new things 2021 brings and how it will mold each and every one of us!
